when I least expected it
now I've realized how much you mean to me

lately I've thought about our past
its a part of who we are, something that we can't change

This is a poem that I wrote last night while I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep. Nathan is a friend that I at one time was very very close to. Recently I haven't talked to him very much, he's been living in Canada. I saw him Christmas Eve and it made me realize how much his friendship means to me.
